At least 26 Cooperative Officers from the different primary cooperatives in San Carlos City and neighboring areas underwent a seminar-workshop on Annual Compliance Review and Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Memorandum Circular Updates starting today, March 1 to 3.
Said seminar was facilitated by the local Cooperatives & Livelihood Development Office (CLDO) with the San Carlos City Cooperative Development Council (SCCCDC) and held at the CLDO Activity Area.
Resource Speaker Cooperative Consultant of Bacolod City Romel V. Tasic tackled the Selected CDA statistics in Region 6, Updates on CDA Circulars and Related Issuances affecting cooperative operations, Year-end Report Preparation for Government Regulators, Preparing for the Annual CDA Cooperative Inspection, Reports for Submission to CDA Cooperative Annual Progress Report, Report for Submission to Bureau of Internal Revenue, and other important updates.
SCCCDC Chairperson Nanette Abuan said the seminar-workshop will provide the primary cooperatives with technical information regarding compliance with CDA requirements before certificate issuance.
Participating cooperatives were Cadiz City Hda. Ogie Sugarworkers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Municipality of Manjuyod and Escalante City First Consolidated Cooperative along Tañon Seaboard (FCCT), San Carlos City Government Employees MPC, San Carlos City Hospital Employees MPC, Ledesma Hermanos Farmworkers Beneficiaries MPC, First San Carlos Housing Service Cooperative, San Jose MPC, Bagonbon Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Tindahan sa Katilingban MPC, and Colegio de Sta. Rita Multi-purpose Cooperative MPC.
