Officials from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) visited San Carlos City yesterday, August 28, to review the latest developments in the city’s Water Safety Plan at the City Mayor’s Office.

The project, funded with a P31 million budget from the local government of San Carlos and executed by Mactan Rock Industries, Inc., aims to enable the new system to process up to 5 million liters of water per day.

Moreno of CWD highlighted that the project aims to deliver a reliable 24/7 water supply to San Carlos and the neighboring Sipaway Island, addressing prevailing water insufficiency issues.

City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo, City Administrator Atty. Estefanio S. Libutan Jr., City Planning & Development Coordinator Engr. Magnolia B. Antonio, City DRRM Officer Joe Recalex C. Alingasa Jr., Executive Assistant to the City Mayor Pocholo Yuvienco, CWD CGADH I Engr. Jose Aris Yap, City Agriculture’s Office Engr. III Francis Alfredo, Punong Barangay Carlito S.
