LOOK: The 3-Day Halad Kay Kang Laon Mt. Kanla-on Natural Park Festival 2024 officially opened today, August 9, at Tinabuay Public Plaza in Murcia, Negros Occidental.

Municipality of Murcia Mayor Victor Gerardo Rojas, La Carlota City Mayor Rex Jalandoon, PENRO Joan Nathaniel Gerangaya, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 6 Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Andres Untal, and MKNP Protected Area Superintendent Dennis Piñosa led the ceremonial rites. The plaza featured various booths showcasing products from the participating delegates such as the cities of

San Carlos, Canla-on, Bago, La Carlota,

and Municipalities of La Castellana, and Murcia.
