The Philippine National Police (PNP)-San Carlos led the launching of the Bagong Pilipinas sa Barangay Community Outreach Program today, Feb. 24, at So. Mag-amihan, Brgy. Punao.
At least 80 beneficiaries received 3 kilos of rice pack, canned goods, noodles, and chicken arroz caldo.
PSSG Ma. Filomena Flores said the program is a brand governance of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. that focused on helping the community through conducting an outreach program; adding it is a continuous program that will reach all barangays of the city.
Josephine Dayonos, 58 yrs old and Ma. Luisa Mallosa, 48 yrs old said they were happy to be among the beneficiaries of the program; they welcome any help from the government
Dayonos and Mallosa also thanked PNP-San Carlos, the local government unit, and President Marcos Jr. for initiating the program.
On the other hand, a free haircut and Information Education Campaign on RA 9262: the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 by PNP-San Carlos Women and Children’s Protection Desk In-charge PSMS Angelie Operio also took place.
The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6, Kapulisan Simbahan Pamayanan (Kasimbayan), Punong Barangay Paquito G. Abadies of Punao, and Brgy. Punao Kagawad assisted on the distribution.
