The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the Census of Population-Community-Based Management Systems (POPCEN-CBMS) in San Carlos City starting July 15.

POPCEN-CBMS would provide local executives, policy and decision-makers, and planners with updated population data, which would be the basis for social and economic development plans, policies and programs, allocation of resources at various geographical levels, and updates the social beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Census Area Supervisor Solitario hopes that the respondents will positively welcome them and assure residents of the confidentiality of their information in adherence to the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Solitario added that the enumerators would use tablets for gathering data and thanked the LGU San Carlos and City Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Magnolia Antonio for their support.
