At least 27 senior citizens from various barangays in San Carlos City each received a ₱10,000 cash gift during a payout held today, April 15, at the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA).

Beneficiaries were octogenarians and nonagenarians who celebrated their birthdays between January and March this year, who were honored in line with Republic Act No. 11982, also known as the Expanded Centenarian Act.

The law provides financial incentives of ₱10,000 to senior citizens aged 80, 85, 90, or 95, and ₱100,000 to centenarians.

The distribution was led by Collim Ferry G. Sayson of the National Commission on Senior Citizens (NCSC) Region 6, with support from OSCA Head Vidal S. Bordaje Jr. and staff.

Bordaje said that 11 senior citizens had also received the ₱10,000 cash gift during the first payout in March 2025.

He added that those who were unable to attend today’s disbursement can still claim their incentives during the next scheduled payout in May after the elections.
