Representatives of the local government of Sagay City in Negros Occidental visited San Carlos City to conduct a benchmarking activity today, Jan. 18.

The group is headed by SP Members Arthur Christopher Marañon, Roldan Gamao, and City Environment Management Officer Mayo Antonio Cueva who also paid courtesy to City Administrator Atty. Estefanio Libutan Jr.

Gamao said that the visit aimed to understand and possible replication of the Enhanced Tax Revenue and Collection System (E-Tracs) and enhance the penalty system of their ordinance regulating the use of plastic in their locality.

He also thanked City Mayor Renato Gustilo, City Administrator Libutan for welcoming them to the city, and Information Technology Officer II Joseph Binghay for helping them in their benchmarking.

Atty. Libutan welcomed the group and also invited them to come back to the city to visit Sipaway Island and Disaster Risk Reduction Management command center.

Meanwhile, representatives of the City Legal Office and Information Technology and Computer Services Office (ITCSO) presented the use of E-TRACS, legislative ordinance, and other electronic systems. while the City Environment Management Office (CEMO) staff assisted during the benchmarking activity.

The group also observed the ongoing Business-One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) inside the City Hall Annex building.
